Manchester, New Hampshire based musician and vocalist DCharp has released his newest music video for his song Flex. A well shot and executed video that pairs nicely with the Rap/RnB/Pop feel of the song as well as DCharp's smooth low vocal register.
The video takes place in the green room as DCharp is notified that he's on stage in four minutes. He makes his way to the record player in the corner of the room and cues up the track while he begins to pregame for his set with a smoke.
"Yea I know you wanna flex up on me, I know you wanna check up on me" DCharp calls out a past lover for trying to keep tabs on him after the relationship has ended. "On my Tony Stark, only want the commas, she was on a bender no futurama." Its clear he has moved on.
The video ends with the stage door opening and DCharp is called to the stage. precisely four minutes after he was notified. He exits the room as you hear the reaction of the crowd when Flex comes on in the house speakers.
Overall all this is concept was executed extremely well, although some might say the song sounds typical of what you hear on the radio, that's not a bad approach to take as an artist who's gearing their content in that direction. Add FLEX to your Spotify playlist.
The song itself was produced and recorded by DCharp with additional mixing by Homie Juan Kenobie, Mr Goodbars, and SvnnyBeats.
Video Directed by Lucid Walls
Flex is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming services
