{Album Review} G-MO "River Called Life"

The debut release for Portland, ME based Hip Hop artist G-MO also known as Murka has been highly anticipated by those who've known him for years from live shows in the area.

River Called Life comes in strong, with my favorite song off the record Waste of Flame coming first. G-MO stomps through your party with his shit kickers in this high-energy head nodder. "Can't hang with my brainwaves. Way to waste a flame" He aggressively taunts the listener.

Dj Matt Perry's beats hit hard on all four songs. All Good leads off with classic style guitar solo, and vintage organ sounds. Then drops into a bouncy soulful track, G-MO rides the beat appropriately. "Things ain't what they seem, give your eyes a check. Before blood gets cheaper than the price of sweat."

Dj Pain 1 collaborates on production for the last two song's Holes to Fill and River Called Life adding elements of Trap and Drill.

Catchy hooks, double time flow, and meaningful lyrics give both of these songs high playability for radio, and add a dramatic element to the record.
